"I’d become known as the girl with the really, really long hair," said Alexandra. “My hair was just below my hips and now, after the cut, it sits just above my shoulders!”

The Cure Brain Cancer Foundation aims to raise money for Brain Cancer Research and is a cause very close to Alexandra’s heart. “I’m really pleased that through the simple act of a haircut, I’ve been able to increase advocacy and raise awareness of the Foundation,” said Alexandra. “My original goal was to raise $2,000 but I have well surpassed that so I set my sights on raising $3,000! I’ve now passed that and am just hoping to raise as much money as I can for this important cause.”

Not only will the money Alexandra raise support the Foundation reach their mission of increasing survival rates but her hair will be donated to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths Fund to be turned into  wigs for women and children undergoing cancer treatment.

"I'm blown away from all the support from everyone who has helped me to raise such a large amount of money," said Alexandra. "Thank you also to Renee from Allure Hair who alleviated my nerves and cut and styled my hair for free and donated a considerable amount to the cause."
